Digital Garden Design Service in Pocklington

Didn’t realise how small changes alter space until we saw the model. The new seating line now makes perfect sense.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping gave us a phasing plan. We’ll build in stages without losing the big picture.

Calm and organised from the start.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping asked for photos, then stitched them into a measured plan. The 3D model let us stand on a virtual patio and peek back at the house.

Dan adjusted step widths as we watched. It felt collaborative rather than technical. Decisions came easily after that.

Dan designed our garden in the middle of winter when the lawn was a bog. He still managed to picture how the light moves and gave us a plan that feels alive, not sterile.

He even added our dog’s path across the grass because he noticed her in the photos. Backhouse Construction & Landscaping were prompt with updates and kind when we needed changes. You get proper craftsmanship, even in pixels. We can’t wait to see it built — feels like the garden’s already real.

Dan was patient from start to finish. We’re indecisive and he never made us feel awkward.

The 3D design looked like a photo of our future garden. He explained how each change affected cost and drainage so there were no surprises. Backhouse Construction & Landscaping genuinely cared that we understood everything, which makes such a difference.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping colour-coded zones so the eye understands travel routes. Dan moved a tree by half a metre and suddenly the view opened.

It’s mad how precise the software is and how calm the design feels after tweaks.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping included lighting positions on the plan. The dusk renders made us think about cabling early which saved hassle later.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping were brilliant from the first email. Dan sent an invite for a design chat bang on time, no faffing about, and by the end of the call we’d seen two versions of our garden in 3D.

He explained why certain paths would collect water and adjusted them there and then. He’s cheerful, honest and clearly takes pride in neat work, even digital. It’s so nice dealing with a company that treats design like part of the build, not an afterthought.

We planned our garden over video because we live miles away. Backhouse Construction & Landscaping handled it effortlessly.

Dan shared his screen, rotated the model, and explained why proportions matter. He even highlighted which parts could be DIY later to save money. That honesty and flexibility made the service feel collaborative rather than transactional.

Dan’s recording of the model was brilliant for my parents. He paused on details, showed step heights with a ruler overlay and even switched to dusk so they could picture visibility.

The revised version added a small rail by the top step which makes everyone happier about safety.

We kept swapping paving choices and Dan stayed patient. Side-by-side renders made the colour call easy.

The cooler tone wins against our brick.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping translated our rough Pinterest board into drawings we could actually build from. The plan shows heights, falls and cable routes on separate layers so nothing gets muddled.

The night render sold the gentle path lighting straight away. Clear, calm and surprisingly exciting to read for a garden plan.

Our plot floods easily and Dan spotted the problem straight away during the digital survey. Backhouse Construction & Landscaping raised the patio slightly in the plan and showed us how to divert water properly.

Saved us a fortune later. Everything from his timing to his tidy communication deserves praise. A cracking experience start to finish.

Dan’s sun-path overlay explained why our old seating spot never worked. Moving it three metres in the design fixed the problem on paper first.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping gave us reassurance from the first email. Dan’s warm tone and punctual follow-up messages stood out.

The designs look crisp, tidy and achievable. When the kids saw the digital walkthrough, they started pointing out where they’ll play. That excitement alone proves how real it feels.
