Landscapers in Woodmansey

Dan kept everything running smoothly. Showed up when he said he would and got the whole thing wrapped up in a day.

Looks the part too.

Dan repaired where he could rather than binning the lot. Two new posts, a spliced rail and a rehung gate with a better latch position.

He matched boards so the patched section blends in and left a small tin of treatment for touch ups. I like the honesty of that approach. He wiped muddy boot prints on his way out and checked the line from the kitchen to make sure we were pleased. Solid, sensible and friendly.

Dan moved the oven a metre to dodge the breeze. Flames behave, smoke clears and plates land on a warm ledge.

Small change, massive difference.

Dan replaced our wobbly sleeper edge with setts that line up like they mean it. The mower runs neatly along and the patio reads wider.

Dan asked about winter as much as summer. He placed lighting at ankle height so it guides feet without lighting the neighbours’ bedrooms.

The pergola adds shade but doesn’t steal daylight from the living room. Backhouse Construction & Landscaping handled it all in one tidy sequence. We love how simple it is to keep.

Dan spoke to our elderly neighbour before digging near the boundary which eased everyone’s nerves. He explained how the soakaway works and why the trench needed that depth.

Courteous, steady and clearly experienced. The lawn sat up within a week instead of squelching.

From start to finish Dan made it stress-free. Talked us through it, helped us choose a style and left the place looking great.

Feels like a fresh start for the garden.

Dan turned up when he said he would, tested the fall with a level and explained everything in plain English. The soakaway went in neatly and the patio dries fast now.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping replaced a storm wrecked boundary just before Christmas. They cleared the debris, checked the line with our neighbour and set concrete posts with gravel boards for longevity.

Closeboard panels sit level despite a lumpy lawn and the gate swings without catching. Courteous crew, fair price and a garden that finally feels private again.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping transformed how we see our property. Dan sat with us on a video call, talking through materials like a teacher, not a salesman.

He highlighted where costs hide and how to phase the work without wasting money. Clear, calm and friendly throughout. When the first render appeared, we were speechless. That level of care is rare in any trade.

Backhouse Construction & Landscaping cleared our old footings, set proper trenches and left the lane spotless. The inspector signed off first visit.

Quiet crew, steady progress and a site that finally looks under control.

Dan walked the plot with a hose to show how water moved, then lifted the soggy corner with topsoil and patience. He trimmed clean arcs round the beds so the mower glides and set a mowing strip by the gravel.

After one soak the colour evened out. The dog approved first, which tells you plenty.
